To those looking to convert their clusters to RED LEDs (Pics)

I know I have mentioned this in another thread but I figured I'd put some pics up of a 5th Gen cluster complete unmodified running red LEDs to prove once and for all they do not come out purple due to the blue tint on the Gauges.

All test were done on a 7.45Ah battery to ensure consistent power delivery to the lights for a more accurate comparison.

New Stock Bulbs

Red LEDs

Yellow LED (These do not show up nearly as well because Yellow LEDs do not have much luminosity so the camera cannot pick up the light. They look like 05 Max gauges in real life with comparable brightness)

Warm White LED (These have been shown before but this is for the record anyway)

I make drop ins so I can always go back to stock easy. I do that where ever when ever I can with my LED mods. The LEDs you see are 0.5 Watt power level LED. Actually when you go up to a full 1 watt hot spotting is eliminated but then you have to heat sink the LED to ensure it won't fail on you quickly.
