Well I am in Ontario Canada so I can't really speak on what a body shop in Houston would estimate your damage to be. I had a similar amount of front end damage to my Max and the body shop here brought in the nose from a donor 03 Max to do all my replacement parts and body work ... the total bill to the insurance comapany was $5,200.

Here's the picture of my damage and the final repair picture, just to give you an idea.

After: sorry the second pic quality is sh$t (cell phone pic taken at night after getting some gas after picking up my car from the body shop)

my wreck in Richardson Tx, was I believe $4800... And you have more damage... You have frame damage for that matter and it will cost quite a bit more to fix... I would guess closer to 6...

It's difficult to guess what it might cost just by looking at pictures. There could be more damage that you can't see until the car gets taken apart. Things like bent subframes, control arms, tie rods, strut towers, damaged wiring harnesses, etc. One car I had actually had the transmission cracked from impact.

With damage that bad, just have it taken to a reputable body shop in your area. Whether or not the damage will total it out is uncertain just by judging from pictures.
