What up Maximatics? I was just wondering what all your guys opinions are for the best percentage tint on a Max is. I have a White 97 SE. Also about what it will cost me. Thanks for all your help.

 

I have 8% all the way around, and top 10" on the windshield. Figure $175-$250.00 for local tint shops if you want all the windows tinted.

 

call me conversative... but tint it whatever your local police department allow... expect to pay around 200 for a good tint... don't go to those 99 dollar one.. the tint will fade on you so quick.. and look ugly.... get something metal base..

 

On a white car, you should be able to go pretty low and still look good. I have 35% on a Gray Lustre and it looks pretty sharp. On white, 35% would probably look pretty dark...particularly if your interior is black.

 

$175-$200 for tint? Where do you live? Don't know about you but I would never pay more than $140 for tint on all the windows. I live in Hawaii and the most that I've seen tint, even at 5%, is only $130. And these prices are from well known professional shops. Guess since tint is a requirement out here the prices are cheaper.

Every region is different. You should NEVER go to a tint shop that advertises "Back 3 windows $59.00". There is always a catch. Alot of times out here in so cal you will get what you pay for.
