1320 code still kicking my butt

I have gone through all the tests in the book. Car runs great. I can clear the code drive the car and the lights wont come on but if I shut it off and restart it they come on. The weird thing today is I took the coils off and looked them over for something to do. I hooked them up except for one and started the car. Shut it off and checked the codes but only the 1320 came up. From what I understand is there is supose to be a code that comes on with the 1320 telling which coil isn't working. Anyone have any ideas why or am I just that confused that I am just looking for some thing?

How many miles are on the car? Is it a 2000 Max? I would replace each coil one at a time. A bad PCV can also throw a misfire code.

It just turned 95,000. Are there any other good coils to use or should I just save up for the oem ones?

The updated OEM coils are the best, you know they are updated because they will have a grey dot on the coil pack itself.

OK good to know because they had new ones on when I bought it but they were the cheap ones so I wasn't going to trust them.
