What do i do??

 

Jump started the car....it is running...but doesn't start without a jump start. I called my mechanic and from what I told him, it seems to be a battery problem. Which is the best battery guys? What do I get?

ummm battery or alternator but alternator normally give signs before going and you say the lights do come on... buy a red top battery, start the car n go about life

 

Red tops are amazing. Well that is after the negative post on my first one wiggled out. Customer service asked no questions, sent me a new one overnight and had prepaid postage back (and this was 4-5 months out of warranty)

I now am enjoying my second red top, 7 years later still has a GREAT charge.

 

Alternator is done for.
Mechanic checked the voltage and it's putting out 12.5 V instead of 13.5V...... says I should change it and wants to charge me $100 for the change....

Guys, I need to buy a new alternator? Which one do I buy? Link/name of item?
