Wheels aligned, tires balanced? All the lug nuts tightened?

Could it be the suspension?

I'm willing to bet it's worn suspension compontents - ball joints, control arms or endlinks. It would behoove you to take it to a shop & have it checked out. Usually not a problem but you never know when it might be a dangerous situation.

Do you have your old alignment spec sheet?

Jack the car up at the front wheels, and try and wobble your wheel & tire assembly at the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock positions, and then again at the 6 & 12 positions.

I'm having the same issue! Make sure your tires are properly inflated.

I'm struggling with the description. What exactly is wobbling? The whole car, steering wheel, front end...?

Did it start all of a sudden or has something changed?

As indicated, without clarification some more info, not sure how to help. Could be suspension issue, ball joints, bad tire balance, busted belter in tire, warped rotor, bent rim, loose lug nuts, etc.

lift the front up in the air and see if theres any play in the front wheels. otherwise as said it could be anything, might have a bad tire or rim, could be out of balance, etc. probably a tierod

Well, it started after my car was lifted at the mechanics shop when he changed the alternator.

When I am driving, and there is the slightest bump on the road, the car wobbles up and down....not rough...but like water, just BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA, up down up down, and isn't it rough, just powerful. So it feels like, all of the shock is going into the car, as it is wobling. The whole car is just wobling like a bish...it is so much, that it is disrupting my foot control, and my foot randomly presses the gas because of the wobling...so it is become a danger to driving.

I am worried as fk, because it started right after my visit to my mechanic...and he was messing around near the wheels...to take out the alternator...so I am wondering if he broke it on purpose so i go back to have this fixed tooo...

Any brahs in NYC know a good mechanic?

If it happened at the shop after they changed the alternator, that'd be the first place I stopped back at to have them check it out.

Be firm about it, without being an @ss. Let them know that it started wobbling after you got it back, and you feel unsafe driving it with it as it is.

I'm imagining a blown strut. Perhaps after being extended that far then compressed again. Just adding another item to the list, but that really helps!
