code P0171 & P0174 ??

i have a 02 SE with a 6 speed...130k on it

last week, on start up..the max starting stuttering...but if i either revved it up...or drove down the street...the skipping would go away.this has happened every start up for almost 2 weeks. i thought maybe i had a bad plug...and changed all 6 (including thsoe rear two where the intake has to come off...WTF!) still the car stuttered....
then 4-5 days ago the engine light came on. i took it to autozone today to get the codes read and this is the two codes that showed up...

Code P0171 :
~ Fuel system lean bank 1
-low fuel pressure
-blocked injectors
-large vacuum leak
-maf fault

Code P0174:
~ fuel system lean bank 2
-low fuel pressure
-blocked injectors
-large vacuum leak
-maf sensor fault

what should i look at first...i almost want to say either the fuel pump is going south or the MAF sensor is going bad...any suggestions as what to chase first?? its eird because once i rev it up or drive it down the street...the car runs and pulls like normal....

I had the same two codes. A new MAF made them go away, but make sure you have a dealership reprogram your ECU.

why does the ECU need to be reprogrammed?
and have you ever tried to clean the MAF?
i had MAF issues with another cars years ago and bought some MAF cleaner and it worked out real good? is there any way to test a MAF to se if its bad?
