red lion racing poly inserts

I just though I would let you.guys know that red lion racing off my 5thgen.com has polyurethane inserts for all the the mounts for our cars. I wanted them and I'm sure there are some other guys on here that needs them well. Just a heads up.

Nylatron is firmer than the firmest polyurethane available.

IMO, polyurethane is better if you're driving mostly on streets. Nylatron will find good track use.

I see aluminum is available but the GB is for the plastic.

If the plastic is more rigid than the poly, I would probably stay away. I have the ES torque mounts and the Knight poly passenger mount and have deep vibration sound at idle with the A/C on (manual trans so I'm idling at every stop). I wish I could raise my idle RPM up 200rpms which would alleviate it.

You can raise your idle with Cipher...+/- 250rpms

Yep, those are my mounts above, I make them in Nylatron or Aluminum. I also make them for the automatic cars with the larger mounts that have sensors. I offer a lifetime warranty on all mounts.

And yeah, Nylatron is a fairly stiff material, more so than your typical polyurethane, but any solid mount is going to increase your vibrations to the cabin. BUT, a lot of my customers from the Altima and 6th gen Maxima group don't mind it, some don't even notice it.

TUKO from NissanClub was my first test guy and his mounts are still going strong, and he loves the increase in engine response and decrease in wheel hop he got from them, and he says he barely notices them at all when driving around normally.
