Ghetto Airbox Mod

I have searched around for over an hour now and cannot find the write-up for this for the life of me. Clicked on the one in the "Installation/How-to's thread" and it brings me to some random thread.

can someone please link?

You might as well remove the airbox and buy an adaptor or cut the bolt mount off the maf housing and throw a 3" cone filter on it.. i did the GAB and wasnt overly impressed and your already getting most of the air from the hot engine bay.. jus sayin

GAB>WAI

IIRC Its been proven (at least in the 4thgen section) that the GAB is better than a WAI

I drove around with it all day. I have to say I love the sound of it. It's not obnoxious and you can't really notice til about 3.5-4k rpm's, then it sounds meaty. And I had the perception that it only made a difference in the sound but if it adds any power that makes it even better
