I'm going to consolidate the sequence of events that's happened on my '01 Max the past month as best I can:
#1-Front wheel bearings replaced
#2-(Possible unnecessary) Starter replaced at same time
#3-Afterward, noticed SES Light was on - Speedometer not working
New Garage:
#4-Checked code: needs Speed Sensor Assembly
#5-I got part-garage installed.
#6-Mechanic noticed starter had cut wire-lot of debri around area--repaired.
#7-SES Light off, but Speedometer running at half speed. Mechanic recommended taking to Nissan dealer for further repair
Car running ok, but still doesn't feel right....

Start with the FSM and pick up or at least visit an auto parts store to use their ODB2 code scanner.
