Aftermarket Control Arms

I just got a control of ebay off a junker that is supposed to be oem. It has gw02/09 on the top of the control arm and the sway bar bushing hole in slotted not just a circle. Is this control arm aftermarket?

UPDATE:

Looking rod and circle near the bushing its obviously aftermarket.

Where were people having failures on the control arms, welds, metal fatigue? I was wondering what company they might be from the gw 02/09?

I had an aftermarket set from fcp import. The metal rubbed a bit and had to be shaved down, and it seemed to produce a locking effect when I was turning hard (I had to pull the steering wheel to get it back to center; think it as a no power steering feeling).

Other than that, not too bad.

I wouldn't worry too much about the metal or quality of it.

I'd worry more about the quality of the ball joints/bushings pressed into the arms.

Sorry Nexus, but I'm not a fan of the FCP kit. Fairly low quality. You can get decent aftermarket arms for about $60 a piece. Any of the known OE Replacement brands should be good enough.
