Black clamp things under car

Can someone please tell me what the plastic black clamp/screw/bolt thingies are that hold the plastic liners under the car. I'm missing a few and would like to get some. I'm not sure what they are called so I can't even start looking but they are basically black and plastic and to fasten them, you have to push them into the slot till they click. I hope that's enough information.

Also, dealer aside, whats a good place to buy them?

Thank you

Look on www.courtesyparts.com for specific part.

Dealer has them for cheap. Only other place that might have them is Ace Hardware that I know of, but doubt they have the exact ones you need.

Home Depot is starting to carry these random hardware pieces. Lowes selection is better for this IMO.

What size are these clips? I went to Lowes and the two that looked closest were the 1/2 inch and the 7/16 inch.

Why don't you get a couple of each size and see which fits? They can't be that expensive...

That's what I'd have done.

Actually, on second thought, I'd have brought one to the store.

go to a body shop they will probably just give them to you, the splash shield clips from the diagram i can see at work are "fender sheild retainers", through kent automotive which is a large distributer for bodyshops all over north america, the part number is p28286. Regardless, bodyshops have each specific retainer labled, go there to inquire about them, im sure they will give them to you.

Good price...

But now you'll have to wait 3 weeks for them to arrive from Hong Kong.

edit - that's an average of 1 week per clip!

Oh wow, 1 cent free shipping.
Makes you wonder how they make profit out of this?
How can it possibly cost them less than 1 cent to produce 3 of these clips

It's by volume. They'll lose money on some auctions and make on others. The end result is positive earnings.

It costs tenths to hundredths of a cent to make one of those. When do manufacture these parts in a high quantities the cost per part is insignificant.
