Next Mod OBX Headers

Hello Family

So Im thinking on my next mod, my engine is about to die so its time to replace it and I have found a 01 with 100000 miles donor car and I was thinking about doing the headers at the same time, now I have been doing my homework for about two days using my SEARCH BUTTON, so far everybody is doing the 02-03 v2 OBX headers and doing the same mods to the x-member and the engine mount to make them fit properly and also for 95-01 deleting the EGR, the bad thing is that I can not find the v2 anywhere, I know most of you guys gets the headers from this website: http://www.ssaccessories.com/, but it's not there , can anyone help me find them?
my other questions is if you look at the 95-01 headers from the same website http://www.ssaccessories.com/servlet...-Header/Detail it says Direct bolt-on without modification, what do you guys think, should I get this version?, thanks for your help.

If you can find them I would get them, I'm not quite sure about the fitment on an 01' but I know there are some modifications on the 02-03 Max. Like grinding the motor mount ect..

Those are v1's, v2's have a equal length ypipe which will help eliminate rasp

You all need to email, call or fax obx, not their dealers. Ask them when they expect the next shipment. That is what I did last year. I had to wait about three months. Be patient.

How many of u guys with 00-01 maxima have installed the 02-03 headers v2 and the 95-01 headers v1? I know there is a difference between horse power and better sound but how about the installation, is it the same mods for both versions?

Maybe the next version will be better and I won't have to make any mods to my car to make it fit.

the only dealers who show those headers in stock are no name rinky dink distributors. id bet they dont even have them in stock, they are just too slack to keep up with their online inventory, give them a call and see what they say

I just picked up some V1's off the classifieds for $190 shipped. You can get some good deals if you wait around. I am not really concerned with the rasp because I am going to keep my stock catback. The y-pipe/headers will delete all the pre-cats, and ill get a megan test pipe to delete the main cat.

I dont see why you wouldnt do engine/headers at the same time. Somebody suggested waiting. You are going to have to plumb up the exhaust one way or the other. Might as well do it with the headers and y-pipe...
