factory or aftermarket?

Factory doesn't go off when you try a door with it locked.

If aftermarket, check your wiring.

Make sure all your doors are closed tight and that all the door closed switches in the jams aren't gunked up and actually pop in and out as they should.

^This. Also check the trunk and hood switches as it won't activate if it thinks any doors/hood is open. The beeping can be disabled I think so try setting the alarm with your windows rolled down. Then you can unlock and open a door...that should set it off.

^ That definitely works. I did that at 7-11 one night about 3 days after I bought the car. Scared the poo outta me!

You didn't say specifically if the doors lock when you press the button on the key fob (remote). If they do, then the lights should flash when the doors lock. The beeping is a feature that you can turn on/off with the key fob. If the key fob is not an early production one, it has the beep on/off directions on the back of it.

Press both the lock and unlock buttons together for 2 or 3 seconds to toggle the beep on/off.

^ This guy knows his stuff! I've had my '03 since 2006 and had no idea you could toggle the beep on/off. Man I love the random knowledge that the orgers have to pass along! Thanks Dennis! I guess I should read all the way through my Owner's Manual sometime soon...

Yeah, it can come in handy. That piece of information and a few dollars will get you a cold beer in many places.

It would be cool to hear if the door locks react on the button? If they are not so there might be a couple of reasons. Someone's car parked nearby has broken alarm and its signals are interfering with yours, sometimes radio controlled door locks can interfere with car alarm frequencies. Or someone uses remote control jammer. You can read more here.

Whats Up Guys i got a quick question. I noticed that one of my horns stoped working the low tone i believe so i replaced them with a set of air horns wired to the horn switch with a relay. Now i noticed that when i hit the panic theres no horn sound at all. Should there be something from the air horn? The lights and all blink but theres no sound. Didnt have a chance to really check the fuses due to the weather. Could this be a blown fuse or relay problem?
