I need new shocks and I want some opinions on best buys
I got a 2k max with about 54,000 on it and the ride is gettin a little bouncy. Enough to where I think they need replacing. I have heard about tokikos, koni, and KYB. Any others? I do not want to move to adjustable coil overs. I want to go with something that is going to ride fairly smooth on the highway, but still not give up under cornering and let the body feel like its going to rip off the mounts.

Are you on stock springs or lowering springs? I'm running the KYB AGX's on stock springs. Settings are 2 front and 2 rear. The car rides amazing. Smooth, quiet yet very firm. These are the best strut/shock I've ever owned.

KYB and Koni are your best bet, but Koni is not officially designed for 2k, even though it fits.
But you should highly consider FSTB while you are stilling looking for suspension because it did reduce a little bounciness in my situation.
performance shocks will barely make your ride miserable, but it will increase the feel of your car. It is the springs that makes the ride harsh. Springs does not give your ride that solid feel, but reducing body roll.
So what I am saying is this:
If you go with stock springs and performance shocks, your ride will be solid, but a tiny bit of body roll as suppose to having springs installed.

I've already got the eibach kit on. I will talk with brian at CP and see what the deal is. I live in Michigan road hell so I need something that will be fairly smooth. I have a 40 mile ride to work in the morning.
