question

I have been seaching all day and probably ran through my data plan on my phone (seriously), 2000 max, auto. Last trans service that i have a record of was at 90,000 kms( i bought it at 130), at 150 i did a few drain and fills, i now have 200,00KMS my car has the "normal" 2-3 cold flair( 300rpm increase max) that im not overly worried about being it only happens when/if i attempt to floor it ( over 50% throttle) and a looong 1st-2nd followed by a thunk if i accelerate over 70% when cold, once warm it has no issues other than there kinda slow shifts if im hard on the throttle. So i was thinking about dropping the pan and cleaning it/magnets, yes the majority of this is covered in other threads BUT people who do this are experiencing slam shifts not lazy shifts, once they do it, the slam shifts dissapear. So being that i already have lazy shifts( which i have had since i got the car and it hasnt gotten worse, maybe a bit better infact) do u think i will worsen the shifts if i do this at all? The previous owner was a service advisor at a nissan dealership who bought it as a demo, he was like 70 years old, so im thinking he never was hard on it and things got a little varnished and gunky even though he maintained it through nissan regularly. the color is red, smells ok. Should i leave it?, just do a drain and fill or drop the pan ,clean and refill?

Thanks guys YES I SEARCHED DONT SCOULD ME!! HAHA

Sentence structure...

Anyway, what you are saying is completely normal. The fluid is still red which is normal. If you want to do a flush then go ahead but IMO it's a waste of money right now.

Should verify your engine mounts are good. Almost bet they are shot. Maybe look into a Transgo kit to eliminate the slippage. Would need to be okay with a solid 1-2 shift.

Good suggestion...at 200,000kms I'd think the mounts would be pretty worn too.

My mounts are good. Funny you say that, because i was just at work looking at my mounts and now i hear a hissing noise coming from the back upper intake manifold.. looks like i got another problem on my hands.

my max-low rpm hesitation and minor slippage when cold but powerful! once its warm there is no slips or hesitation, but its slooow and shifts are like butter!
