Switch the switch.?

Hey guys. I have another question.
Any one know how to wire an Aftermarket Fog light switch into the Factory harness?
I know it can be don't but it sounds like a pain to do but my brother (the tech) thinks that's a better solution than using the supplied after market harness (he set it on fire)
But any ways can it be done,? Is it hard to do? And if possible, if any one has done it a write up please.?
Thanks

He set it on fire?? How the...? Never mind. The fog lights just run off of 12V. Just run 12V to a relay for the Fogs and use the switch to control the relay. Maybe you should include an extra fuse in there too.

^That's just a good idea right there.

The fog light relay is very plainly marked, as noted you just tap into the trigger wire for it with your switch and you're good. You need to fuse the power supply to the aftermarket switch with a 2.5 or 5A fuse, but that's it, as long as you're not doing more than you said, lol.
