01 automatic harsh downshift
Hey guys,
I just started noticing something with my 01 today. When slowing down from highway speeds (i.e. 60mph and coasting to a stop) the down shift from 4 to 3 is noticiable/harsh. Accelerating everything is fine, shifts smooth and no slipping. Before today I do not remember having this problem. Yesterday, the starter went out of the car, so I replaced that. Not sure if I knocked something loose while doing that. When changing the starter I had taken the battery out of the car and also the air intake...not sure if there is a relearn procedure that needs to be done. The transmission fluid has about 20k on it. Any ideas on this one?
