I have a vq from an 03 (bought it from someone on here) i have taking up space not donating parts to the community. the motor starts up and runs but has some power issues. If you search my posts you will see where i reused VTC sprockets from a motor that blew that had the notorious 'clatter' at start up. So i used the old sprockets from the blown engine in the 'new' engine and had problems which pointed to the valve timing system (low power with a flat dull powerband) but it revved freely and made good oil pressure. Im hellbent on keeping it because i think its just the two sprockets but the space is not mine and is looking like its gonna be used for alternative storage. As well, the sprockets are hard to come by and nissan wants a crazy price (looks like its come down recently-i remember them at 600 a piece) i will update with pics . any offers or requested parts i will consider.
