Big 3 upgrade, does anyone sell a premade kit for a 5.5 6 speed?

im getting ready to upgrade my underhood wiring, im just curious if anyone sells a premade kit? if not im going to build it myself, but if the cost is right ill just buy a premade, id prefer 4 gauge wire also.

if anyone has any insight on this let me know, ive already checked blehmco and they sell a "grounding" kit, and another member shinjidou sells a "grounding" kit, but they dont include the positive wire from the alternator to the battery.

How much wire do these big 3 kits require for the 5th gen? I wouldn't mind producing a few kits for members here. I have a good local connect for great prices on Stinger wire..

Edit.. These should help

The positive alt to hot battery lead is about 4 feet of wire and the supplemental ground wire from the negative battery terminal is about 12" to 15" pending on where you mount it. The engine block to chassis is 8" to 9.5" pending again on the exact mount point. The big issue is the $4.25 cost of 1/0 gauge wire and the $15 cost of a water proof ANL fuse holder and the $2.50 cost of a 275A ANL fuse. All and all makes for a kit that typically cost $65 to make but no one wants to pay $90 to $100 for the kit. Hence why no one offers them. Good luck if you decide to make the big three kit. I'll impart any knowledge I have to help you develop your kit.

So that's why you never produced those kits... I'll look into the total cost from where I buy my stuff from. At least there WAS interest a while ago from what I saw on your thread a few people were asking for "big 3 kits". Lets hope there's some interest left, I'll be getting in touch with you soon, Shinjiduo.

Just remember too, Tseng: terminals for 0 gauge are fairly expensive and 1" shrink wrap cost a little bit as well. But the big whopper versus a grounding kit is the shipping cost which doubles when you are shipping a big three kit.

That you think a positive wire will be included in a grounding kit???

Sounds like you are best to contact Shinjiduo and get him to make you a kit with that wire included. Pay the price he asks, and you're all set!

Wire and conenctors isn't cheap, and if you want to even half-way compensate someone for the labour to make them, expect to pay $100. That's not a lot of money for premade wiring, especially 1/0, etc, that's massive wire.

I just simply went to KnuKonceptz and ordered 10 ft of 4 gauge wiring (I went cheap and did the CCA) and 6 4 gauge ring terminals in the color that I wanted (ended up doing black because it blends in with the engine the best). I figured out all the runs before I cut and was still left with around 4 ft. The longest one will be from you alternator to your positive battery. I also went on ebay and ordered a 4 gauge fuse holder with an 80 amp fuse for like $3 to go in between that cord. Seems to help the alternator a great deal. Used the grounding spots behind the battery for the battery - to ground. Also used the grounding point behind the passenger headlight assembly and for the ground to engine block. There are probably better spots but I had no way of testing.

thanks for all the help, i did use the search function before posting the question, the reason i posted it was because 1. all the search results were old, therefor not many were probably current.
2. the kit makers didnt include "big3" in their kit, it was just a grounding package, while one has offered to make the kit for me, I opted to do it myself. I figured if i can do a 3800 supercharged series II swap to a pontiac fiero i should be capable of doing a big3 on my own.
