Goodbye Maxima.org

Just got into a car accident last night on the BQE. I don't know how I walked out of the car perfectly fine.. I basically swerved through 8 lanes of traffic - 4 from the right to left then another 4 when I went from left back to the right after being T-boned.

But other than that.. RIP Tiffany.
Still a bit confused and traumatized from it. Stupid of me too on a rainy day.

Fluid, I thought the same after I took the picture. The car that T-boned me and caused me to swerve all the way back just kept going and didn't stop. Which may also be a good thing for me since it'll only be known as a one car accident.

A bystander a few cars behind me pulled over to see how I was doing and did a recap of the whole thing since he saw what happened. Long story short, he said I was very lucky as I dodged 2 trucks and a dozen cars even though I covered the entire highway back and forth..
I need to count my blessings. This is by far the worst accident I've had. The other being when I totaled my TL at a stop sign intersection when a cabbie hit me.

I haven't yet. I just have a stiff neck at the moment from the whiplash. I didn't even feel it until I sneezed this morning. I'm gonna let it settle a little and massage it, see how it goes. And thanks..

Glad you're ok. Get some rest and take Advil for any pain.

The BQE is one crazy/dangerous highway.

Well, definitely good enough to keep driving since he/she didn't stop!

Yeah man.. I was actually switching lanes to pass a truck but my dumbass wasn't thinking about the wet roads.. Of course wouldn't happen on dry road since i do it all the time but my stupidity kicked in. Thanks man, my neck is still pretty stiff, I'm gonna get some ice when i get home from work.

Haha, well, definitely gonna be forced to go for something inexpensive again! So might as well try to find a good bargain here . Even though I'd love a 3 series.. or an RSX even.. but insurance is too damn high already.

Yeah, thanks. Funny thing is I've been contemplating the past few days whether or not I should buy your headlights! Guess that option's out for now!

That sucks man... I feel your pain. Got into a head on with a 4th gen about a month ago and I too walked away unharmed.

I take it the frontal impact was from hitting the wall?

Hope it taught you something glad to hear you take responsibility. Don't make sharp steering movements at high speed in any weather, its UN necessary and obviously dangerous. Still glad you are all good dude, play safe out there.

I might suggest an auto cross run in your future to really have some fun and learn the limits of your car

God damn. The BQE is my daily route too, I get off at Tillary every morning. It sucks because you get to drive the maxima and then spend longer than you waiting in traffic, to look for parking in Brooklyn.

But glad you're okay Maxima's are replaceable, our lives are not. But on the brightside there a couple 5.5 6speeds on the cheap on CL
