My daughter has a 2002 Sentra that needs a new driver's side headlamp assembly. Online dealerships want just north of $150 for it. I found an eBay listing for $39..

The last time I bought any car parts from eBay, it was an STB for my 3rd gen Maxima, so I haven't a lot of experience there. Can I safely assume that this $39 headlamp is cheap POS that will fall off the car the first time she hits a pothole?

maybe?

It's probably ok, but not that great of quality. Doubt it'll just fall right off but...I'd check sentra forums and see what they say re; fitment and quality. But itdoes have a 1 year warranty so...

Buy used. http://car-part.com/ is a great source for that stuff.

I bought a cheap set of OEM replacement headlights off eBay for my wife's car a year ago. Within a month the seals went bad and they started taking in moisture. When the temp dropped to freezing they started to crack. Is what it is, I found out the hard way.
