I've got a resurrected 00 Max that wasnt running and taken from sitting under a canopy for two years to a smooth & quiet running driving machine though it does rev at about 1500 rpm idling at start up. My service engine light came on & I got three codes P1320 P0161 P0302 so my mechanic checked the corresponding cylinders brand new spark plug and switch its ignition coil with cylinder 4.

The check engine light went away.

Is this normal?

 

p0302 is misfire on cyl 2 not cyl 4

And they can go away if a certain number of drive cycles have been completed without the error returning...however the chances are that the battery was removed by teh mechanic and that reset the CEL.

 

Sorry to bump but....I just received these exact 3 codes. I failed my emissions test here in illinois cus of it. I had replaced cylinder 2 with a Nissan coil cus the crap they sold me at Napa was from Poland. Damn cheap Coils..lol Now Im thinking of just replacing the Oxygen Sensor and checking all my coils to make sure they are Nissan so i can clear the p1320. Damn cel light has been on forever.....trust me! Only use Nissan Coils. Im confused with p0161 bank2 sensor2. For Oxygen Sensors...do they have to be Nissan oem or can i get aftermarket? Any help is appreciated?
