cattman version 2 headers

im new to maximas but just started picking up a few upgrades, and I came across a local with cattman version 2 headers with egr, im considering buying them for my 03 maxima but im just curious if it would throw an engine light or are you guys running o2 simulator or defoulers and do they work? Also what is the typical power gain from these headers, I was going to go with obx but keep hearing cattman is the best..

out of the box, Cattman fit is better which makes for an easier install. I believe someone dyno'ed them with roughly a 20hp increase. You will need o2 sims or non foulers to keep the SES light from lighting up.

You will also have to have the egr plugged. That is only for the 2000-2001, it's not needed on a 2003. Other than that I'd say go for it. A great product.

Just take it to an exhaust shop and have it welded over. No big deal and probably cost you five bucks. The first gen used to all come with the egr port. If you don't need it, plug it up.

New the Version 3s are like 8XX shipped, he still sells them but killed the website, have to call and get on a List and once he has 10 people he will start production same thing for his 3'' Exhaust...

I would just get a plug and plug it and not weld it, maybe sell in the future and can be ready for people who have the EGR, they will just have to take out plug...
