need help i dont know what i can be???

hello fellow org members i have recently purchased a 2001 maxima automatic with 200k on it from a family member. the car has a abs, tls off, slip light on but no check engine light. i took the car to get the code checked out and mechanic told me it was code 35 rear driver side sensor but the car also has a diffrent problem and i cant figure it out. only when the car is at a dead stop and i give it gas to take off it feels like its jerking and cutting or having some kind of loss of power. i also notice it more when im going up hill but after that the car shifts ok at low speeds. i dont wanna give the car tooo much gas either because i dont wanna make it worst, i have had people tell me it can be the abs sensor itself, the maf sensor, coil packs, spark plugs(tune up), and the fuel filter might be clogged up. i know the car is kind of old but i wanna fix the problem first before i put a lot of monie into it and later on the car not be worth what i put in
i have a 2002 maxima 6 speed and other than a broken autozone axle every month its been a great car, hopefully this one can be daily driven too!!!!
any help is welcomed

Have you checked the camshaft sensor?

No I haven't but wouldn't that trigger a check engine light? And how can I check it?

To check the sensor, called CMPS, you need to measure the ohms resistance. Yneed to use a volt/ohm meter, also called a multimeter.

Then go to page 355 of section EC in the FSM and follow the directions at the bottom of the page.

Don't have the manual? Get it here:
