Brake jutter

My brakes vibrate a lot when braking hard or soft. I don't want to go through hell with the dealer to try to get them fixed under warranty. I had them inspected and I still have 50% of my pads left. Has anyone gotten a brake job done even though they didn't need it just to get rid of brake vibration? I thought I could deal with it a little longer, but it's really annoying now. Could I just get the rotors resurfaced and keep the pads? If I get Nissan OEM parts will I have the same problem again? Too many Nissan problems...

Your rotors are warped, get them replaced under warranty! You shouldn't have to spend a cent. Maybe if people started *****ed more Nissan and other manufacturers will start equiping their cars with better braking systems so they wouldn't have to replace them under warranty.

When I had my 300ZXTT I was replacing my rotors every couple of months. I drove really hard backup then and the punny 11" rotors were not good enough for that car and my driving style.

Haven't had that problem with my 02 Max but I haven't had a chance to drive too hard yet. But I can tell already the brakes suck, I'll be replacing them in the spring.
