Awesome news, I really had no idea what the new product might be given the HP gains stated and what NWP already had available. Looks like I have another product I'm going to need to purchase soon...

Joking about the tornado for sure! Insider info or lucky guess about throttle body? Nope.

Serious educated guess about TB, absolutely. Couple of reasons this just made sense as the next big product.

LOL!! Stocks not my thing!

Aaron,
Because I guessed it, can I get a generous discount!?

**** yes, awesome news Aaron.
I will be purchasing this for sure, it's an easy decision knowing this product will perform as you say it will, install perfectly and be of great quality.

Good to see voltage drop in this too, can't wait.

I'm going to say that's a no go.
I have a PFTB on my 3.5 and the spacer is way too small to fit the tb.
Iirc the PFTB is 75mm too.

It should be since the tapered edge for the new TB should fit flush on the IM throat. So it be IM/NWP Phenoli spacer, taper piece, TB.

Yup, nailed it. Like Aaron would design a product that would disregard another of his products.

Maybe I got confused in all the excitement, but wasnt there indication this TB kit was tested on a car with spacers and BP?

Aaron, reason dyno shows roughly 8hp increase although you advertise 12+ for the Maxima?

I guess we should just tell everyone to clean their butterflies by manually opening the valves, this way they will have to get this kit when they get a cel for faulty tb. HAHA

Finally, I hate putting a quart in every couple thousand miles. In all seriousness, a new OEM tb is at least as much as Aaron's entire kit. He is doing this for a great deal. This may just be the next mod needed to keep me from selling the max and getting a g37.

I'm running a PFTB on my 3.5 swap as well with the NWP spacer.

PFTB is 70mm.

You're forgetting to take into effect the sample cars mods. If you have headers, intake, exhaust, tune, etc- those numbers will increase.

It looks like a untuned 5.5 gen 6speed can get around 250 to the wheels fairly easily.

My next bit of throwaround cash will be spent here.

Perhaps I'm not following you, but I've not forgotten anything. Dyno says 7.6 hp gain on tested maxima that had spacers and BOP. However, Aaron states in the details there is a 12+ hp gain. Without his providing a reason, there is a contradiction here. Aaron is not one to provide fake numbers. So, the question is simply where does the extra 4.5hp he mentions come from?

This is no knock at Aaron, but I for one want to know if my car has only spacers and a BOP whether to be expecting roughly 7 or about 12 hp gains with this mod.

read the facebook posting. This sample dyno is from a minimally modded car.

To get the extra HP, other mods need added(just like EVERY other mod on a car- they all can work together).

When you flip through a car magazine and see a K&N ad that boast +35 HP gain on a Vette- do you really believe that is solely from a CAI/air filter on a stock car???
