? about manual transmission

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to replace a 2000 5-speed MT with a 2003 6-speed MT?

If not does anyone have a 2000 Max MT up for sale??? My max really needs one

I don't think the axle or the shifter are compatible. But I could be wrong

It will bolt up to the engine, but other than that you will need to make more modifications. The 5 speed is rod driven for changing gears the 6 speed is cable driven. You would have to source a 6 speed axle for the passenger side, possibly the driver side as well. And a 6 speed shifter and the cables
