2K Ball joint & Lower tie rod Q
Hello Guys
As mentioned in my last thread http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...-question.html I found out that my 2k MFD 12/99 uses a 99 axle locking diff, so that being the case would my suspension and steering parts be 99 as well?? I.E. lower tie rod and ball joint?
Kind regards

No, those parts don't change because of the differential. You want the parts for a 2000. They may even be the same as a 99, but ask for parts for a 2000.

Thank you,
I went to my local auto parts store and when they examined the old axle they determined it was a '99 abs a/t with locking diff as opposed to a 2k one. Thanks for clarifying the rod and ball joint question atleast I know what to order now at RockAuto, for a 2k not a 99.
