01 Maxipad ECU/Immobilizer
Few questions upon my hours of searching.
2001 Maxima SE

Auto w/ T/C
After a failed attempt at replacing a ST509A chip another ECU is in order.
I am wondering if DataScanII is the only consumer software to be able to reprogram the NATS? If so is the feature available on the non registered version? If not how about previous releases prior to requiring an access code.
I don't mind paying $30 for the software but it appears to have jumped up to $70? I have no need for it other than reprogramming a couple keys.
I have a Tactrix (Yes, I'm a Subie guy) for datalogging and remapping the my ECU. I am hoping the program will work with the OBD II device and will find out once I have it back this week.
The PCB in the ECU has A56-001-Z60 stamped on it. I only had one russian hit on google with that number.
S/S ECU Number I found.
2371M-5Y016RE
Any other advice is appreciated.
Thanks
