Got Greddy Exhaust today!!! Have question

I just recieved my Greddy exhaust tonight, just had a question, is there any thing that I should know before doing the install, or better yet, does anyone have a write-up on the install. I'm thinking that it's pretty straight forward, bolt-off, bolt-on... Feedback would be appreciated. . . Thanks.

exhaust installs are pretty straight forward, just dont forget to put something underneath the Greddy Exhaust when installing it so u dont scratch it on the ground.

squirt the bolts with Liquid Wrench before removing the bolts and again when they're off. It'll make it easier to remove down the road if you have to break them loose again.

Squirt the rubber exhaust hangers with WD40 or grease to make it easier to pull off. You might need a screw driver to pry them off.

Are these available through you still? What is the current price?

Does the b-pipe have a res on it? Can you check with greddy if just the b-pipe is available and at what price? Would a stock exhaust bolt on to the greddy b-pipe easily? We don't have a b-pipe avail for our cars... I hear Cattman is working on one though.

If you're not working on a lift, you need to remove the rear right wheel to get the stock muffler off and new muffler on (need to jack that side higher).

I haven't looked at any 5th gen GReddy pics so I don't know for sure, but there probably is a resonator on the B pipe since all other GReddy exhausts have one.

No, full catback only. You can't buy bits & pieces.

Greddy

When I got my exhaust I had to take it to a muffler shop and have an O2 bung welded into the b-pipe of the greddy because there was no hole for the o2 after the cat.

You have an O2 after your cat? Did you do the FED spec conversion?

So I'll have trouble installing the exhaust do to the O2 sensor? That means i'll have to take it to the shop, which I really didn't want to do if it was an easy job, Is there any way to by-pass the O2 sensor? Please help, I wanted to do the install today. Thanks. . .

Does it matter where you live if you have a O2 sensor after the cat cause I just got mine today and if I have to do that it's not a problem because I work at a machine shop so I can weld a plug on.

My install bolt off bolt on in 30min, all O2 sensors are before the cat. the rear section (with muffler) of the system required a lift to allow room to snake the piping through.

install the front section in your garage (easy). if you can't snake in the rear section (muffler) go to a shop (w/o the muffler on, yes it's loud yet safe) and it will literally take 5 min once the car is lifted. i went to a shop with a lift and the guy did it in 3 min, literally, i said just leave but i gave him $5 as a tip.

yeah, tell them to stop screwing around by charging u ridiculous amounts..

if u look at the GReddy, it's a direct bolt-on replacement...u don't have to fabricate anything to bolt on the exhaust..use the stock rubber exhaust hangers and that's it! takes like less than 30 minutes with a lift and air-tools..

No tips for doing it myself with the help of a friend but doing it without using a lift.
