Help with buying an SRI.

I have a 2003 maxima, and found a Weapon-R "Dragon" Intake system online. When I clicked "add to cart" on it, it took me to an options page, where it shows "Ram Air Kit II" and "Ram Air Adapter". Now I don't know very much about mods right now, but I'm trying to learn. My question is, are the Kit and the adapter necessary? or is it just extra? No sarcastic comments please.

That extra "ram kit" is not needed. However, that is WAYYYYY to much to spend on a mod that will only give noise. Do some more searching on this site before you buy anything. Just a suggestion.

Could you maybe guide me to a reliable website where I could buy a good SRI then?

Here is an option to make your own.

Some people like the JWT Pop-Charger...if you want to spend money. Maybe search and there is a cheaper one.

The Berk intake is also a nice one. There is also a for sale section on this forum, craigslist, ebay, etc.

Search around and see what option is best for what you want. Good luck.

p.s. I literally spent like 2 mins searching so there may be a lot more options out there or maybe the thread/site I posted are out dated.

SRI just suck in warm air and make things worse, true CAI draw in cold air from a hole in the bumper or behind the headlights.
