Vafc2 setting

Alright guys I'm sorry to do this but my brain is burning from all the searching and reading. On my vafc2 my in and out setting is 6-6.my question is since I replaced my stock maf with a 2001 mod maf sensor, do I have to change this setting? Reason why I ask is because ever since I replaced it, the cars afr jumps around and is never stable. What should the settings be? I've been driving like a grandma for the past 2 weeks because of this.

1/1, why would it be 6? In any case, any like # should work. (1/1, 2/2, 3/3, etc.)

VAFC is designed for cars with a MAP sensor, not a hot wire MAF like ours.

I've never messed with that setting I just looked into it and saw that and wondered if it shouldve been changed.

Something else is happening I'm at a higher fuel setting than usual. On my wide throttle setting it's +41 and up. Can it be a dying fuel pump?

Wait, slow down.

What are you doing? Did you add fuel because of a lean condition, or did you just install and it is at +41?

Do you have a wideband installed?

Wide band is installed I've been trying to correct my fuel curve at wot to 13.0 to 13.5

It's been erratic never stable. Now it seems stable when I put 1in and 1 out but I'm maxed out on the corrections. The car is pulling stronger but I don't want to risk it

At 6-6 the af ratio would be lean and then rich and then lean changing every time I hit the gas

That's normal, mine does the same, how lean and how rich? What's it idle at? How about WOT? What differences did you see with the 6/6 change to the 1/1?

Lean as much as 16.5 and I would get off the pedal, if I ease my way into it again it would go to 10 or 11-1

Would it help if I initialize the vafc2 and then reset the computer?

No, it wouldn't. The ECU is intercepted by the VAFC so basically anything the ECU wants to do, the AFC tells it not to and does what you tell it to, ONLY for MAF V though.

That’s kinda what it does, mine goes to offscale, when coasting down a hill. Tap the gas, and it will dip to 10 or so. What are your settings, such as LVT, RPM, throttle, etc?

You might just be freaking out.
I’d imagine you’ve seen SR20DEN’s set up thread on it? If so, then your settings should mimic that, and you really shouldn’t care to much as to what’s happening anywhere else other than WOT. Unless, of course, you’ve got a larger MAF housing.

Throttle is 20/40
Rpm start at 1000 then works it's way up by 500 increments
6 cylinder / 1-1 right now
MAF housing is stock
I don't recall sr20dens but I was looking at tedos.

Thought I should update this. Problem was that the afc had reset I don't know how or when but when it does reset the throttle relearn should be performed on it. Did the throttle relearn and placed my old tune back in and my baby's performance was back. Thank you NmexMAX for the help so far.
