Differences in suspension between 2003 SE and GLE models (winter tire related)

I drive a 2003 Maxima SE. Picked up another set of 03 SE stockers for winter wheels from Craigslist and was wondering if I can purchase 215/55/17 tires to use on these wheels.

OEM tire size for the 17x7 SE wheel is 225/50/17

OEM tire size for the 17x7 GLE wheel is 215/55/17

For winter tires, narrower is better (plus a much bigger tire selection to boot in GLE tire sizing), so question is, can I get away with 215/55/17 on the SE wheels and stock suspension?

AFAIK the only difference between SE and GLE suspension is stiffer springs on the SE, same ride height for both.

Thanks for the quick response, yes to what? Using 215/55/17 tires on the SE wheels?

What about suspension differences between the SE and GLE models? No difference there other than stiffer springs?

did you forget your own question? you asked it twice even. The answer to it, both times, is "yes".

I think only the front Sway bar. The SE has a thicker one, only by 1mm think though.

SE sway bar is 23mm, GLE is 22mm. SE has stiffer shocks made by Tokico, GLE has standard shocks.

I use the same exact winter tire size and I am lowered about 3 inches so you will be fine as I have no issues at all.
