Do not use AutoEcu!

I have a I30 which had the typical fried ECU issue many have had with this generation of I30/Maxima. I sent my Ecu to this company to rebuild in which they sent me a two rebuild ones and they did not work. I ended up buying one on ebay and had the dealer program that one and it worked. I send back their Ecu and requested a refund. No one would respond to my calls or messages. After 5 months of calling almost everyday they gave me a small portion of the $500 I spend for their ECU. This company is the worst to deal with. Just a piece of advice.

$500 for what? The cost of a used ECU is $150 on the high end, what do you get for $500?

They sent me a rebuilt one for $500 after they told me mine was not fixable. I know, ripoff right.

Research some before you dive in like you did. Heck, I have an ECU for sale right now.

Edit: just saw this is a 5th gen ECU.
I only have a 4th gen. My mistake.

Still wayyyy too much money though.
Sorry man.

I hope they at least returned your unfixable ECU, otherwise they'll probably sell it to someone else. Sad part of all this is most ECU's are easy to repair yourself...
