P0505 - damaged ecu caused by shorted out rear motor mount (pic)
Got in a 2000 maxima with 86k miles today with the p0505 iac issue. Good idea to unplug your motor mounts guys. In this case it was the rear motor mount that shorted out the ecu. I remember someone (maybe on .org) saying that this is impossible. Here is the proof:

Just to add on this when replacing my mounts with non-electric I just cut
the wires.
A day later they must of touched because it was the first time I couldn't connect to
the ecu. Motor just cranks and cranks but no start, no codes, no connect.
Luckily it was the engine control fuse under the hood.
I blame it on the motor mount wires
