Maybe a hard part to find but where can I get it at?

camshaft sensor connector for a 2002 maxima se.

the green clip doesn't lock the sensor into place anymore, I think this is why I'm getting the sensor error.

I exchanged the sensor at Napa today and it's still happening as it did yesterday.

If someone can confirm that a DEK connector/one from an I30 will fit then I can get you one for simply shipping...

They are the same engines. I do not see why they would be different. If the sensors are the same, then the plugs should be the same.

Not the same engine.

OP, check a junkyard and pick up an extra engine harness. I've done this in the past for my 4th gen, and it's a smart investment.

I need to change the whole harness or just the clip?

Just splice/replace whatever connector/clip you need.

Trying to remember if that sensor was part of the recall?

Might want to contact local Nissan dealer and see if there are any open recalls on your car. I know mine got in on that recall, I believe it was the CPS.

Why would 02 Maxima and 02 I30 have different engines? Maybe I am missing something. All well.

Never heard of an 02 I30, 02 I35, yes.

And I was referring to this about the DEK, because the DEK is not the same as what's found in an 02 Maxima/I35.
