I have a 2000 Maxima GLE with 215000 miles on it, It seems like everytime it cold outside I say below 40degrees. when I start it up it idles
for a minute, then it starts to stumble like it want to cut off, I have to give it gas to idle. but once it warms up its fine. Now when its really cold like this week, its really bad. even when it warmed up. If I'm at a light it starts to jump/stumble like its ready to cut off, So again I put it in neutral and give it gas until the light turn green then put it in drive. other then that it drives good. have anyone experience this problem before...

 

Yes I have 2000 gle with the same issue. Just put in a new MAF but it didn't help. Per some of the other threads on this topic I suspect it's the upper intake manifold gasket. I bought the gasket too but waiting for a warmer day to install it.

 

I will give it a try and install the Upper Intake Manifold gasket to see if that fix the problem.
