On going Electrical Problems. Any Input Needed.

A few weeks ago my gauges died, they did nothing, the milage got scrambled also, Checked all the fuses, relays etc, Could not find a issue, I bought a used cluster, stuck it in, it worked fine. Today i went to start my car, it got stuck like it had to much compression or something, turned off the key and it then started fine, it does this once in awhile. But after i did that the cluster milage was screwy again, the guages still work at this point, also when this happened i lost my power locks and remote key fob functions, I pulled all the fuses and checked them, all good, after that the power locks worked again as did the Keyfob, the cluster mileage is still scrambled looking and i do not know what is causing this, I have checked the alternator voltage to make sure it was in check and it is, thinking high voltage caused it, but note the case.

I am lost, i do not know what is killing my gauges, Does anyone have any input on this issue?

PS: <I also heard of a term called micro fretting which may be a cause> But i am not sure at this point.

when you say the mileage is scrambled, are you referring to the lcd display? dead pixels? any pics of the problem?

I don't have pics of the screen but yes, the lcd is showing faded and goofed up looking characters.

I have fixed issue like that by resoldering the contact on the lcd to pc board of the speedo. Overtime they develop cracks and would cause dead pixels or blank screen al together.

I have tried this on my other cluster and its still the same, however the gagues do not work at all on the other cluster, low fuel light on, only rpm needle bounces barely, when the old one went bad it also threw a fuel lvl sensor and vss sensor code which are perfectly fine. as the new cluster has shown
