Ignition Wire Conversion?

So as many of you know, the wiring in the Maxima looks horrendous stock, so i've been looking into Ignition wire for the Max but can't seem to find a relevant guide as to how this would be done in the Max, and i don't want to drop $100 into it (starving college student), i haven't had time to look under my hood to investigate at all recently, wondering if anyone else has done this swap yet?

Are you sure you own a 5th Gen Maxima? They don't have ignition wires. They use coilpacks.

wtf are you talking about? the last time distributors and spark plug wires were used on a Maxima was 1994 GXE 3rd gens. 4th gens and up use coilpacks in place of a distributor system, ignition coils and distributors are 2 completely different systems.

not really there is such a thing called coil on wire, GM used it for years where there was a 6 or so inch wire going off the coilpack to the spark plugs. but you cant convert what you have now or anything

i dont understand how coilpacks look horrendous if anything spark plug wires get messy sometimes

coil packs look fine its just the way that the wires to the coil packs look, and the restrictions that the wiring causes

makes no sense, if you were to add spark plug wires along with coilpacks thats 10x worse. then you have to mount the coilpacks somewhere STILL with the wiring going to the coilpacks and you now have fat spark plug wires snaking around to the spark plugs.

Coilpack wiring is hidden under the engine cover anyway so this request just makes it even more confusing.
