How Can This Be Fit???

I AM REALLY CONFUSED, CUZ AT TIRERACK.COM, I WAS USING THE WHEEL SELECTER TO SELECT THE WHEELS FOR HIM, SO THE RIMS THAT THEY SUGGESTED MUST BE FIT RIGHT?? NEED UR OPIONS MY FRIENDS~~

i had 17" 5 lug wheels on my 4th generation. when i sold the car, a friend of mine wanted them for his 1999 accord 4cyl...even though there were 2 different patterns, they did not fit. i don't
think it's doable,,,he will need wheels for 4 lug cars, unless he has an accord v6,,,

That is only a pic companies make four lug and five lug pattterns if your talking about taking a four lug and trying to put it on a five lug pattern hub it's not possible

rims are basically manufactured in 2 different bolt numbers..4 and 5(unless ur looking for rims that will fit SUVs and trucks)..

for example, they make my 5Ziggen GT-8s in 4 lug patterns and 5 lug patterns. not all rims come this way. there are more applications available for Accords than u can imagine.

now, if u find the 4 lug rims, must think of the off-set issue then. what's offset? well, that's telling u how much the rims will stick out from the hub. if u get wrong offset rims, ouch..that's not good.
hope this helps.

SO WHAT U R SAYING IS THE PIC THAT I POSTED MAY HAVE 4 LUG PATTERNS?? SINCE TIRE RACK HAS THE WHEEL SELECTER FEATURE, THE OFFSET MUST BE RIGHT RIGHT?? AND U R ALSO SAYING THAT RIMS HAS 4 AND 5 BOLT NUMBERS, CUZ I KNOW SOME OF THE RIMS CAN FIT 4 LUG AND 5 LUG, IS THIS WHAT U MEAN?? OR U MEANT EACH RIMS MAKE 4 LUG AND 5 LUG EACH?? BTW, THANKS FOR THE REPLY, THAT'S REALLY HELPFUL~

yeah, the rim u posted a picture of may or may not come with 4 lug patterns that will fit ur bf's accord.
make sure u call tirerack and ask them if the rims will fit in ur bf's accord. in that case, in a very unlikely event that the rims won't fit, u can send them back and claim for ur losses..
i was saying that each rim has different bolt patterns. u can't bolt the exact same wheel onto a 4 lug hub if the rim's made for a 5 lug hub. now, with 4 lug patterns, there are rims with 8 holes on them. that is to accomodate different bolt patterns(maximas bolt patterns are 5x114). these rims will not bolt onto 5 lug hubs but they ARE interchangable between 2 different 4 lug hubs(boy, we're really getting confused now..)

does that help?
