I'm looking on RA for lower control arm replacement options. Is there a difference in quality between brands?

Is the Doorman the same as the MOOG R series? Should I spend more for the "professional" or "supreme" options from Raysbestos, Mevotech, or AC Delco?

 

When I did mine a little over a year ago, I used the Moog ones and I'm extremely happy with them.

 

I am about to do the same thing and I am probably just going to buy the Dorman ones also. The Moogs are 12.00 more and I can use that extra money on the inner and outer tie rods.

 

I remember reading on this forum that the dorman control arm is the wrong size for the 5th and 5.5 gen maximas and ppl had really big problems until they figured this out. Search around here you'll find it, i dunno if it has been corrected though.

Found some links about dorman control arms but some problems were for the 4th gen, 1 problem was a 5.5 gen, your call let us know what works.
