random unplugged harness.

Last night I changed out my fog light bulbs and on the passenger side I came across a little surprise..

There was a random plug going into nothing! I looked around and theres nowhere for it to plug in nearby and its held by those factory clips that keep wiring neat.. so it doesnt have much extra length to play with so it didnt fall from somewhere else. I guess im wondering if I should worry or if its just a random plug that isnt supposed to be used

Also while im at it.. anyone know what the black pieces that jut out from the top of the front door windows? Always wondered what their purpose is.

Thanks!

The pieces in the door window frame are to guide the window glass into the channel. If you are driving on the highway with the window open and go to close it, air pressure has a tendency to suck the window out as it nears the top and the plastic piece guides it into place.

I think youre correct. Mine doesnt have the auto so it would make sense. Inside the bumper is a good place for those sensors so I think you nailed it
