Install Heater Servo Motor for the A/C?

I just bought a new motor and cannot figure out to get this installed back into my car. The brackets are still are on the car. I'm having the hardest time figuring out which A/C mode the motor should be in when I'm trying to install it back onto the brackets. I have tried looking for a write up on this, but having no luck at all. Help please? Thank you!

Picture is attached of what I'm talking about, controls the flaps in the airbox under the dash.

It doesn't matter. The air door inside the ducts turns very easily by hand (it better or you have other problems) so when you connect the link between the motor and the air door arm, it ends up in the correct position.

I was afraid of that than figured that the motor resets itself after I turn off the AC.

I got this diagram from the factory manual. Is this how it should be installed initially? Is it easier to fit the rod first into the handle and than fit onto the motor?

If someone could take a picture of their's in their car, I would appreciate it
