budget gsxr ITB vq35de?
Im wondering if anyone here has any experience or knowledge on runing gsxr750 carb/throttle bodies as ITBs on any efi car and if you think this would on a vq35de.
a vq35de ITB kit costs wayy to much. KA24de (240sx) people use gsxr750 throttle bodies to make ITB setups.
Can this be done on a vq35de?
Seems to me that the a standalone ecu like the megasquirt will have to be used and along this, the engine management could be simplified if cam adjustment is disabled and timing retarted for room for error.
here is a DIY guide for gsxr750 ITBs for KA24de

KA24de has about 600cc displacement/cylinder and the vq35de's have about 580cc. 64hp/L vs 75hp/L so probably similar CFM air flow aswell.

How are your fabrication skills?
I would rather just save my money and buy an off the shelf product.
Or even better yet if you want to go fast... start a different motor. Putting that sort of money into the Vq35 is a waste of time
