Does anyone know what the part number is for the correct PCV Valve grommet?
Also, would anyone know what the diameter of the opening the grommet fits into is? Unfortunately we went to replace the PCV Valve and the grommet was shredded.
I am having difficulty finding the part and knowing 100% it is the correct one. Most of the local auto parts stores do not carry it.
Thanks

Sorry, forgot to mention it was for a 2000 Nissan Maxima SE

The real part number is 11812-41B00. Nissan calls it "INSULATOR-PCV VALVE".

The suggested list price is $10.25. While the on-line price is lower, the shipping & handling charges may bring the total price higher that if you bought it at your local dealer. Ckeck first.

You can use the Dorman Help! brand from the local parts store. Its part 42058 and it for Toyota but it is the exact same part for a Nissan. Nissan did not make an aftermarket one but this Toyota one is a perfect fit in the valve cover and around the PCV. I have one on my car right now. I put a little oil on and it slid right in and its cheaper that the Nissan OEM one.
