for NA applications, it most likely won't. Plus, I think he is using some tricks to get it to work. Resetting the ECU every 30-40 cycles also is probably needed so that the ECU doesn't re-learn the new settings and adjust.

Doing a workaround that Keven97SE suggested. The AFC will definitely not be useful for an N/A Maxima as Nauman pointed out.
