Hi everyone,
Long time lurker, first time poster. Anyway, I'm having a heck of a time removing the passenger inner tie rod on my 02 Maxima. I rented the tool from autozone, and the adapter they gave me almost fits, but is a little loose.
I've heated it up with my torch and put the breaker bar/pipe to it, but it won't budge. Is there a locking plate that I'm not seeing? Thanks in advance.

there could be a pin holding it in place, but really doubt it. In the video below it shows, how to and you can learn a little bit of spanish.... lmao

Thanks for the reply. I looked for a pin with a flashlight and a mirror and I don't see anything. I think it must be just seized in there pretty good. I'll go out to Harbor Freight and get a set of better fitting tools and see how I do. Fingers crossed.
So, I went out to Harbor Freight and bought their tie rod removal kit. Got home and had it off in 30 seconds. Amazing what having the right tool can do.
