Stillen header for 02

This might be old news but i just got off the phone with a stillen rep who told me that there is no point of making a ypipe for 02 because the precat is not there. However they will make a header which could be ready to ship in 30 days. mmm...header.....

And if you ask another guy at Stillen they'll tell you they're too busy working on their Space Shuttle body kits and the 02 Maxima RWD conversion is in the works... I hate that about them.

You know $tillen is going to rip everyone a new-a-hole on the price of these headers. I estimate at least $600.

Doesn't the 02 already have equal length runners exhaust manifold , thus making it a header?

i called stillen over winter break and the guy i talked to told me they were working on a y-pipe/header/something else combo. "it will probably be a 3 piece set". he kept insisting that i would be VERY pleased when it came out. of course a typical salesman will make you feel like that but i got a more believeable feeling from this guy.
by the way emax, when i called this guy i mentioned your post about putting headers on your car because the y-pipe was impossible.

he got sooooooooooooooooooo ****ed that you posted something like that. he almost started b!tching me out for possibly believing you. "oh and they must be geniuses." "he works here[sarcasm]" "he probably doesnt even own a maxima" he was a HUGE d!ick at first but then he chilled out and gave me some useful info.

Well, headers aren't necessary or of much value on the 2k/2k1. Y-pipe gives as good a gain basically as a header. Search the forums for a whole slew of analyses of that issue.
