Just have a quick question. Will a TS ECU from an 02-04 Altima fit a maxima (I am not so worried about the CEL just function - I will have a spare stock ECU if I need to go back and keep VAFC to handle the bigger intake and 440cc.

Would you rather do TS and VAFC2 or go UTEC.

Mods: Cattman headers+3" exhaust, 4" intake, 75mm TB, 440cc injectors, spacers (maybe rod bolts for extended rev). Can't think of anything else but these are the major mods.

utec can't do IVT

 

So are you saying that the Technosquare does? There was no info about valve timing on the Technosquare site

I just thought I have to deal with the NATS. I'm thinking of staying with the UTEC.

 

Technosquare just reflashes the ECU with a different IVT curve. Its non end-user tunable.

At this point it really depends on what you can find. Both configurations have worked well for many people.

 

I already have the UTEC but was going to trade it for Technosquare ECU. But I think I'm better off staying with it. Thanks!
